The lesser known Patna waterfall is 5 K.M from Laxman Jhula.
You can either rent a motorbike, a taxi or walk for about an hour on Neelkanth Temple Road.
The track is just bit off the main road after Garud Chatti Waterfall.
You hike through the scenic forest to reach the waterfall. The trek is about 1.5 KMs long.
There is also the option of cave exploration but yes the rocks are a bit slippery so you need to be very careful while climbing up and coming down.
Rishikesh is not just about river rafting, there are a few waterfall hikes that can be explored. Patna Waterfall is one such example and definitely in the top things to do in Rishikesh.
That smile while offering Jal (water) to Shivling is because my friend was reciting the Mantra wrong and she just can’t remember the right words of anything that she sings. So that error made me smile….. I have known her for 27 years now and just know this is how she is.
SPECIAL THANKS TO LALIT AND RAHUL (PEACE YOGA RETREAT) for these beautiful shots that I have used in my video.
